This 6x8 mm oval ring blank is crafted from genuine 925 sterling silver and finished with bright rhodium plating for a polished appearance and improved resistance to tarnishing. Eight cubic zirconia stones accent the shoulders, adding elegant sparkle without distracting from the custom center stone.
The elevated prong setting is intended primarily for calibrated 6x8 mm oval faceted gemstones. Its open structure allows light to enter beneath and around the stone, enhancing brilliance and visual depth. Suitable choices may include amethyst, garnet, citrine, blue topaz, sapphire, cubic zirconia, moissanite, and other properly calibrated oval cabochon stones.
Professionally manufactured breast milk, resin, ashes, or memorial stones may also be considered, but only when the finished stone has the correct dimensions and a profile compatible with this mounting. This ring is not a bezel cup, and liquid resin should not be poured directly into the setting. Flat-backed, oversized, unusually high, or irregularly shaped inserts may not fit securely.
Before setting, compare the actual stone with the mounting rather than relying only on its stated size. Forcing an unsuitable stone can bend the prongs, deform the center seat, loosen the side CZ accents, and damage the ring. Professional stone-setting experience or assistance from a qualified jeweler is strongly recommended.
